One of the sweetest songs i've heard in a long time can be heard here. Give it a listen. I promise it doesn't suck, and it has nothing to do with ticks*.
*If you watched the Grammys, you know what i'm talking about.

I never watch the Grammys. Because they're a joke. But this year, out of pure boredom and desperation for entertainment on a weeknight, I watched them. And yes, the song about ticks was completely ridiculous.
I know what you mean about the Grammys. I watched this year because I wanted to see Amy Winehouse and Andrea Bocelli. (i love opera, which probably makes me a giant purple nerd)
I don't get country music though. If a song about ticks (complete with neon tick-shaped lights) and a song sung with a backdrop of a junkyard are the best they can do, well...it may be time to reconsider the future of the genre. Yikes.
The song is good, interesting that it is about an existing relationship as opposed to the wooing and infatuation of a new one. Ticks suck. Pardon the pun.

It's actually about the writer's (being the lead singer for Yellowcard)grandparents.
I thought it was a very touching tribute to their relationship.
